My jewelry was in serious need of organization. I added "jewelry organizer" to Ryan's to-do list, but being 11 days from my due date, there are so many other important things he's taking care of, that I decided to tackle this one by myself. We had leftover mesh from our hamper project. I wanted to use that so that the two pieces would match, plus it would be free :) It ended up not working, so I basically found the same exact thing at Hobby Lobby.
I found everything I needed all in the same aisle at Hobby Lobby.
For this project, I bought:
1 foam board ($7.50)
1 12x24 aluminum sheet ($7.50 after coupon)
1 pack of S hooks ($2.99)
Ryan wasn't home when I made this, so I just used whatever screws he had that seemed appropriate, one in each corner. I pushed them in just far enough so that they didn't pop out the other side of the foam. Then I cut off the excess foam.
It was done in a matter of minutes! Then I just played around with the positioning of the S hooks to work with my jewelry.
When Vivian saw it, she said "Wow, Mommy!" and Ryan thought I had bought it. :)
